Animals as divine powers: frog (Heqet, fertility), fly (bravery and the gold “Order of the Fly”), falcon (Horus), baboon (Thoth), crocodile, hippo, fish (protection from drowning), hedgehog, hare, lion, ram, cobra and vulture.Making yours
Mostly 0.5–3 cm and often very stylised. Faience, carnelian, amethyst or gold. Suspension loop on the back or a lengthwise bore.
