Pendants enclosing relics, Agnus Dei wax or miniature scenes under rock crystal. Worn by the wealthy as both jewellery and spiritual armour.
Making yours
3–8 cm. Gold or silver-gilt frame with enamel, glazed with rock crystal on one or both sides. The hinged back opens.
